The AK-RC 111 controller is a new control panel for cold rooms with a single-phase compressor up to 2 HP, specifically designed to offer the user safety, protection, control and ease of installation. It allows the user to control all components of a cooling system: from controlling the air temperature and defrosting to demanding control tasks including lighting and fan control.
This system provides comprehensive control for single-phase static or ventilated refrigeration systems up to 2 HP. It supports standstill defrost or electric defrost options, as well as compressor direct or pump-down shutdown.
For single-phase evaporator unit control, it can activate the refrigerant solenoid valve based on a signal or control it remotely from the condensing unit. The system displays the cold room temperature with decimal precision and allows regulation. The evaporator temperature can also be displayed with decimal precision using adjustable parameters.
The system offers on/off control for the switch system and provides various alarm signals, including probe error, minimum and over-temperature alarm, compressor protection, and door switch alarm. The status of the system is indicated by LED indicators and a large display.
With a user-friendly keyboard, the system enables the management of evaporator fans. It supports manual and automatic defrost methods such as static, heater-based, temperature-controlled heaters, and circuit reversal. It can directly control and regulate the condensing unit up to 2 HP using either direct or pump-down control.
The system allows the activation of cold room lighting through a panel button or via a door switch. It directly controls the compressor, defrost, evaporator fans, and room lighting with outputs connected to the respective units. It also offers air circulation control and features two auxiliary relays with configurable parameters.
Additionally, it includes a built-in RS 485 Modbus port for compatibility with Danfoss System Manager or standard Modbus RTU network. In case of sensor environment faults, it provides emergency operation. It incorporates intelligent defrosting for energy-saving purposes and supports a reduced setting for the digital input during nighttime. It can be configured for heating or cooling applications and accommodates configurable digital inputs.
