Infrared, contactless door opener switch by Topmet with product no: VSS-000-1101. It is used to turn on and off the LED illumination in the drawers, cabinets, and wardrobes.
Sensor separation is 2–60 mm. The light source attached to the controller turns off if something (such as a door, hand, drawer, etc.) moves closer to the sensor than this distance. By relocating the object out of the sensor’s detection range, the light source can be turned on once more. When a door is opened or closed, the associated LED strip actually goes off when it is put in front of the door. The sensor can be screwed into place or installed on a surface using double-sided adhesive. The sensor and controller are connected by a 1500 mm wire. There are no moving parts in this switch, hence its lifespan is far longer than that of mechanical switches.
